Arbitron is an independent company who sells ratings information to each willing radio station in their survey markets. All stations receive the same market information.
Arbitron is most known for its quantitative data (how many people are listening, and to which stations?)…but it also provides qualitative data (what types of people are listening to each station, and what are their lifestyle habits?). In my opinion, qualitative data is by far most important in achieving results with any campaign.
